Salted cartomizer Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Bristol: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
We run salted the same way in Bristol: same cartomizer, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A salted cartomizer from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £3.51 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Bristol works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted cartomizer really costs in Bristol
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Bristol survives.
- Treating the advertised £55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.51 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How long does salted in a cartomizer last?
In Bristol we measured 6 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order Nicotine Salt online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
