Caramel box mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Caramel in Bristol: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Caramel box mod here
Caramel in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on caramel: 13 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel box mod really costs in Bristol
Caramel in Bristol reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested caramel in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
