Vanilla in Bristol: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What vanilla costs in Bristol
Vanilla in Bristol reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run vanilla the same way in Bristol: same mesh tank, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: vanilla in Bristol works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla mesh tank really costs in Bristol
Vanilla in Bristol reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Bristol survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.57 per 10 ml liquid plus £68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How long does vanilla in a mesh tank last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
