Vanilla box mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the price shortlist
Vanilla in Bristol: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a box mod for vanilla
We run vanilla the same way in Bristol: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at vanilla in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla box mod really costs in Bristol
A vanilla box mod from the value options in Bristol costs about £1.76 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for vanilla in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.76 per 10 ml liquid plus £40 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
