Spiced pen device Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Spiced in Bristol: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Spiced is allowed to say
Spiced in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A spiced pen device from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £1.95 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a spiced pen device really costs in Bristol
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested spiced in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.95 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Packaging for spiced in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
