Salted pod kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Salted in Bristol: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a pod kit for salted
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A salted pod kit from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £2.63 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Bristol works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pod kit really costs in Bristol
We run salted the same way in Bristol: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
