Salted in Bristol: 22 units tested over 8 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.46 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at salted in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: salted in Bristol works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
We run salted the same way in Bristol: same nicotine salt bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.46 per 10 ml liquid plus £35 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
