Plum in Bristol: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Ordering Nicotine Salt to Bristol: the practical version
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.53 per 10 ml.
Plum in Bristol reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum refill pack really costs in Bristol
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.53 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.53 per 10 ml.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
