How we tested Plum nicotine salt bottle here
Plum in Bristol reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
There is no single best way to buy Nicotine Salt in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: plum in Bristol works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
A plum nicotine salt bottle from the online options in Bristol costs about £1.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest nicotine salt bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.88 per 10 ml liquid plus £66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How long does plum in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
