Mint starter kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the price shortlist
Mint in Bristol: 16 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Mint is allowed to say
Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.7 per 10 ml.
We run mint the same way in Bristol: same starter kit, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint starter kit really costs in Bristol
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested mint in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mint goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.7 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
