Lemon pod kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the online shortlist
Lemon in Bristol: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the lemon habit
Lemon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.32 per 10 ml.
We run lemon the same way in Bristol: same pod kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: lemon in Bristol works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon pod kit really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at lemon in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested lemon in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a lemon bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.32 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lemon the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.32 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
