Honey pen device Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the order shortlist
Honey in Bristol: 8 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Honey sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run honey the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a honey pen device really costs in Bristol
The honest read on honey: 8 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested honey in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where honey goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for honey in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should honey start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On honey the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.88 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How long does honey in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
