Grapey sub-ohm kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Grapey in Bristol: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What grapey costs in Bristol
Grapey in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.13 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a grapey sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
Grapey sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested grapey in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long grapey in Bristol survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised £42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.13 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.13 per 10 ml liquid plus £42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
