How we tested Grapey prefilled pod here
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.03 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: grapey in Bristol works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey prefilled pod really costs in Bristol
Grapey in Bristol reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested grapey in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a grapey bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.03 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should grapey start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
