Frozen pen device Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the wholesale shortlist — Bristolzeronic
Frozen in Bristol: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with frozen in Bristol
The honest read on frozen: 18 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.96 per 10 ml.
The short version: frozen in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen pen device really costs in Bristol
There is no single best way to buy Nicotine Salt in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested frozen in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.96 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
