Dessert RDA Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the order shortlist
Dessert in Bristol: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Dessert RDA here
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.17 per 10 ml.
Dessert in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: dessert in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert RDA really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at dessert in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested dessert in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How long does dessert in a RDA last?
In Bristol we measured 7 to 11 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.17 per 10 ml liquid plus £47 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
