Dessert pen device Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the price shortlist
Dessert in Bristol: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the dessert habit
A dessert pen device from the value options in Bristol costs about £1.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: dessert in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert pen device really costs in Bristol
Dessert in Bristol reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested dessert in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.67 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for dessert in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.67 per 10 ml liquid plus £65 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How long does dessert in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 5 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
