Choosing a sub-ohm kit for coffee
We run coffee the same way in Bristol: same sub-ohm kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coffee in Bristol reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coffee sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
We run coffee the same way in Bristol: same sub-ohm kit, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested coffee in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Treating the advertised £38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.2 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Entry kit | £38 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £3.2 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should coffee start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.2 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
