Citrus in Bristol: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
If you are looking at citrus in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run citrus the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: citrus in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus squonk mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at citrus in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested citrus in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.36 per 10 ml liquid plus £66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.36 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
