The short version: citrus in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus pen device really costs in Bristol
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested citrus in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.17 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for citrus in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
How long does citrus in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
