Cherry in Bristol: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What cherry costs in Bristol
Cherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.31 per 10 ml.
Cherry in Bristol reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long cherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cherry cartomizer really costs in Bristol
We run cherry the same way in Bristol: same cartomizer, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cherry in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.31 per 10 ml.
- Mixing cherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.31 per 10 ml liquid plus £38 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On cherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.31 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How long does cherry in a cartomizer last?
In Bristol we measured 5 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
