Where buyers go wrong with caramel in Bristol
The honest read on caramel: 22 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A caramel refill pack from the pre-order options in Bristol costs about £1.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel refill pack really costs in Bristol
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.71 per 10 ml.
How we tested caramel in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Bristol.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.71 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
