Blackcurrant cartomizer Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the flat shortlist — Bristolzeronic
Blackcurrant in Bristol: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A blackcurrant cartomizer from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £2.3 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant cartomizer really costs in Bristol
We run blackcurrant the same way in Bristol: same cartomizer, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested blackcurrant in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.3 per 10 ml.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
