Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run blackcurrant the same way in Bristol: same 30 ml shortfill, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: blackcurrant in Bristol works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
Most people searching Nicotine Salt in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested blackcurrant in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Bristol survives.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
Is blackcurrant legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.83 per 10 ml liquid plus £48 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
