Berry in Bristol: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What berry costs in Bristol
If you are looking at berry in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on berry: 21 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: berry in Bristol works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry starter kit really costs in Bristol
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.27 per 10 ml.
How we tested berry in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every berry bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where berry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised £30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.27 per 10 ml.
