Apple vape pen Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the budget shortlist
Apple in Bristol: 6 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Apple vape pen here
The honest read on apple: 6 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run apple the same way in Bristol: same vape pen, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long apple tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a apple vape pen really costs in Bristol
The honest read on apple: 6 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where apple goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why apple tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.69 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Is apple legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
